Tripod feet: the right footwear for your tripod.
Tripod Feet
Depending on the surface, standard rubber feet will not always give you the best connection between your tripod leg and the ground. On snow and sand, for example, large plate-like feet that do not sink into the soft surface are recommended. If you are working on ice or gravel, spikes are the best option as they will find their footing among the sheet ice or stones. Claws are recommended for a secure hold on rough, rocky ground. And if you ever lose a shoe, you will find a replacement here.
