Deep sky from the city
A dark sky is always good and sometimes absolutely necessary. But some objects can also be observed under a light-polluted city sky.
There are definitely better places to be if you’re hunting faint galaxies. But even if you live in the city, you don't have to miss out on the enjoyment of astronomy: these deep sky treasures can also be found under a city sky. Best of all, they're all there - variable and binary stars, open and globular clusters, galactic and planetary nebulae, and even galaxies!
