The ideal deep sky camera for SC optics on altazimuth mounts.
With this camera, Atik is taking a new approach: it has been specially developed to make faint nebulae visible with altazimuth mounted telescopes. The camera adds each new image of the object and displays the result directly on the screen (live stacking).
The flat housing has been especially designed so that the camera can be used with Celeston's NeXstar or CPC series of telescopes, without touching. For such telescopes and deep sky photography, it is simply the ideal choice. For images of the Moon and planets a planetary camera should also be used, for example a Celestron nexImage.
