With this accessory, the Celestron SC telescope becomes a Schmidt camera!
The Hyperstar optic allow the conversion of a Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope to a very fast optic for astrophotography. The aperture ratio of f/2 enables the photography of faint nebulae and galaxies with significantly shorter exposure times.
This also eliminates typical astrophotography problems, such as autoguiding or precise alignment. With Hyperstar, deep sky astrophotography is even possible with an altazimuth mount.
