1st generation
1st generation night vision devices are suitable for recreation, leisure and hunting. They have a light amplification of around 1,000.
2nd generation
2nd generation devices are designed for professional requirements. Light is amplified approximately 20,000 times.
Digital
In contrast to devices of the 1st or 2nd generation, digital night vision devices are based on the principle of a digital camera. Very light-sensitive sensors amplify the residual light. Some devices offer the possibility of taking photos or recording videos.

Thermal camera
You create an image from the heat signature of an object. This can be displayed in different colour modes. This technology allows you to use these devices even in complete darkness, and a picture can be produced even in fog or rain.
