This series of binoculars was developed in 2017 to combine maximum resolution with maximum image brightness. At the same time, the aim was to create one of the shortest and most compact binoculars. To achieve this, the newly developed binoculars were equipped with special Schmidt-Pechan prisms, which have a very short light path.

Thus the new Lux-HR combines all the best properties of perfect ornithology binoculars with the requirements of hunting and stalking binoculars in a completely new way.
