Normal filter wheels or filter-slides cannot be used with the Hyperstar system as this would lead to shadowing, whereas the diameter of this filter exchanging device is not greater than the HyperStar system itself.
The filter is placed in a filter tray and pushed into the device. The device itself remains firmly mounted between HyperStar and camera.
A filter drawer for 2" filters comes included. You will find extra drawers and reducer adapters available under 'Recommended Accessories' section, which allow other sizes of filter to be used.
You will also find an adapter for connecting the filter exchange device to the different HyperStar systems in this section.
