Eyepieces proven for years in the classic four-lens Plössl design
These eyepieces are ideal for expanding the eyepiece range of smaller and medium telescopes at a reasonable price.
For high light transmission (image brightness) and to avoid annoying reflections, all lens surfaces are multi-coated. All Plössl eyepieces are equipped with a rubber eyecup, which provides additional viewing comfort and prevents stray light from entering the side of the eye. The eyepiece housings and the eyepiece shaft are made entirely of metal, not plastic. To further reduce disturbing reflections, the insides of the eyepiece sleeves are thoroughly blackened.
- The short focal lengths (high magnifications) are ideal for observing the Moon and planets.
- The long focal lengths (low magnifications) allow beautiful overview observations of star clusters and nebulae with a comfortable eye distance.
All Plössl eyepieces offer significantly higher contrast and image sharpness than the very inexpensive Kellner or Huygens eyepieces.
