Product description

GSO RC astrograph:

This is a newly developed telescope from GSO, for the first time at a more affordable price, and is especially suitable for astrophotography as it is a pure reflection system and so has no chromatic aberration. This is due to the use of two mirrors - a hyperbolic primary mirror and a convex hyperbolic secondary mirror. The image is coma-free and has a wide field of view. The open system and quartz mirror mean that RC OTAs cool quickly and there is virtually no problem with dew. This ingenious system even allows infrared photography.

The advantages in a nutshell:

  • ideal for astrophotography
  • no chromatic aberration
  • open system

It not only matters which telescope you buy but also where you buy it. Our additional services:

  • We are a leading telescope dealer and know the devices we sell. Our customer service team will gladly help you after your purchase if you have problems with assembly or operation.
  • We provide a copy of the 80-page Telescope ABC beginners handbook with every telescope.

Astro-Photo and observation

One of the best priced telescopes for astro photography. I highly recommend it. Super shop.

Great for the stars, but not planets and moon.

This telescope is great for seeing the galaxies, nebulaes and star clusters. I could not ever, see the moon or Jupiter and Saturn. The focal length is too great for planetary and lunar observations; you will need a focal reducer to see them.
It's a fantastic telescope. Not difficult to collimate. Great for astrophotography. This is my first reflector telescope, an upgrade from my cheap refractor. Comes in good packaging and with ring extensions.
