It gives very high-contrast images, showing a lot of detail when planetary observing and even permits deep sky observing. The OTA is really light at only 3.2 kg, allowing easy transport away from light polluted cities to darker observing sites. Its low weight also makes it suitable as a spotting scope for nature watching. In contrast to the very expensive camera adaptors for classic spotting scopes low-cost adaptors are available, for example, for photographing small birds. Of course, you can also do astrophotography with this telescope and take great Lunar and planetary images. Also, its attractive red design makes this telescope visually a little gem.
