Explore Scientific’s three-element ED special glass apochromats offer everything that the amateur astronomer’s heart could desire - and for a reasonable price!

Thethree-element construction with special Hoya FCD01-ED glass and two air gaps create a corrector which is considerably higher quality than two-element ED apochromats available in this price range. A calculated polystrehl value of over 0.9 produces a much clearer image than the 0.8x which can be obtained using two lenses. This outstanding image performance, combined with a sturdy mechanism, creates a package which leaves nothing to be desired.

An optional field flattener accessory for photography is also available - this means the instrument can be used for photography with no restrictions.
