These spotting scopes are filled with argon, are water- and dust proof (JIS class 6) and are especially compact.

Conforming to PENTAX’s optical standards, but very unusual in this price range, is the 1.25" eyepiece connector, to which almost all standard astro eyepieces can be connected.
