Wide-field camera with a 20 megapixel resolution for deep-sky work
If the fields of view of many astronomy cameras are too small for you, you are a deep-sky photographer, or if you want to prevent extended nebulae photos from having to be cropped and be able to photo them in their entirety, then the 20000KPA DeepSky Colour model is the right new ToupTek camera for you! Make use of its incredibly high 20 megapixel resolution and get a wider field of view for more extended objects!
The advantages in a nutshell
- DeepSky colour camera with new CMOS sensor
- high resolution - 20 megapixels
- large, 15.86mm diagonal sensor for an enormous field of view
- more extended deep sky objects can now be photographed without having to crop them
- all-in-one - complete set, including 2" connector, USB 3.0 and software
A night sky filled to the brim with stars, a galaxy with the spiral arms in the middle. The whole image looks as enormous as if you were looking through a wide-angle eyepiece. A panoramic view is fascinating in the sky - directly through the eyepiece or in a photo. Capture the brilliance of deep views of the universe with this wide-field camera.
IMX183 - 20 megapixel chip
The new Sony CMOS IMX183 sensor is the advanced piece of technology behind this ToupTek camera. The back-illuminated sensor is significantly more sensitive than comparable predecessors and produces less noise. Deep sky objects appear brighter and even more beautiful. The impressive 5544x3694 pixel resolution makes a rich wealth of detail visible. The sensor is ideally suitable for medium focal length telescopes - for example 1000mm.
A 3.05 times larger field of view
This camera provides a 3.05 times larger field of view as compared to the Touptek 63000 camera. You can use this camera for photos of extended areas of the Moon or for sprawling deep sky objects. If you want to take photos of planets, you can simply select a smaller region (ROI) and increase the image read-out speed - a breeze, thanks to fast technology and USB 3.0.
2" connector for full illumination
The 15.8mm sensor is illuminated by a large area of the incoming light, and the camera has been provided with a 2" connector for exactly this reason. The advantage - your images will not show any vignetting and you can look forward to uniformly illuminated astronomy photos.
