2"/T2 focal adapter

This compactly designed adapter fits onto any 2" eyepiece barrel. It has been designed without a safety groove to prevent possible inaccurate optical alignment.

The male T2 thread allows a camera to be connected using its corresponding female T2 thread. This could be a CCD camera with a T2 thread already machined into its housing or an SLR by means of an additional T2 ring. This T2 ring uses the T2 thread of the adapter and a camera-specific bayonet connector.

The adapter has an internal thread for receiving a filter, such as a nebula or colour filter.
