PULSAR Ultra X-940 Operates in the invisible wavelength range
The PULSAR Ultra X-940 infrared illuminator works in the IR spectrum that is invisible to the human eye. This allows the hunter to observe unnoticed, without startling the game. Three power settings allow the IR illuminator's range and the illumination of the observed object to be controlled.
Fine adjustment to the beam position in the riflescope field of view
The IR illuminator's design allows the user to adjust the beam position (the direction of the light) in the riflescope's field of view. This ensures that the observed image is evenly illuminated. To adjust the beam position, loosen the locking lever and move the unit into the correct position. By tightening the lever, the unit is fixed in the selected position. The alignment takes a few seconds and does not require any extra tools.
Power setting
The three illumination intensity power settings ensure the optimum level of illumination. This is adjusted by sequentially pressing the button on the device's housing.
Power supply
The infrared illuminator connects to the Forward F455 digital night vision units and Digisight Ultra N455 / Digisight Ultra N455 LRF riflescopes, and becomes part of the digital device's power system. Information about the current illumination intensity is shown in the status bar on the digital device's display.
Assembly
Attaching the PULSAR Ultra-X850A/ X940A infrared illuminator to a riflescope takes just a few seconds: thanks to the bayonet mount, the IR emitter is quickly, easily and safely attached.
