The Frontier family makes a triumphant return to the Hawke riflescope offering with the features and flexibility to give shooters the edge at the range or in the field. The hallmark of the Frontier line is the precision optical system. The index matched lenses set the Frontier optical system apart from the competition. Exceptional clarity throughout the field of view, with crisp image transmission, make the quality easy to see. Additionally, the 6x optical system provides increased flexibility when transitioning between close and long range shooting. The body of the scope itself is a 30mm mono-tube chassis, machined from high-grade aluminium. Low-profile ¼″ @100yd turrets provide smooth and precise adjustments, while still maintaining a compact and efficient design. Side focus control allows for parallax correction from 10 yards on the 2.5-15x50 model and 30 yards on the 5-30x50.

Integrated soft touch rubber provides a secure grip for smooth operation of the magnification ring. A quick twist, fast focus ocular and threading for supplied sunshade round out the Frontier chassis. Shooters and hunters can choose from two glass etched reticle options. The LR Dot reticle has been designed around the ballistic profile of common hunting cartridges. Also available is the new TMX reticle. The TMX reticle uses true mil spacing at 20x, with half mil indicators. Both reticles are glass etched and illuminated. The 11 step illumination controls, operated on the saddle, have been carefully crafted to ensure prime reticle viewing in any light condition.

Every Frontier scope is vigorously tested before being nitrogen purged, making them fully waterproof, shock proof, and fog proof. Frontier scopes feature a anodised matte black finish, and are available in either 2.5-15x50 or 5-30x50 models.

• Fully Multi-coated Lenses:
  Frontier lenses are fully multi-coated. Throughout the 6x ratio optical system, all glass surfaces have received 21 layers of advanced coatings for high light transmission in all conditions.
• Low-profile Fingertip Turrets:
  Highly accurate click-sound matched turrets feature a click value of ¼″ @100yds per click with a total value of 15″ for each revolution. Once zeroed the turret scales can be reset.
• Illumination Rheostat & Side Wheel:
  Precise parallax correction and focussing is achieved using the smooth operation side wheel. Adjustments from 10 yards (30 yards 5-30x50) to infinity ensure accuracy is maintained. The rheostat on the saddle operates 11 red brightness settings.
• Precision Engineered Construction:
  All frontier riflescopes are produced to exacting standards to ensure years of trouble free service. Each and every scope is recoil tested, water and fog proof tested. All anodised surfaces are matched ensuring the quality is seen on the outside as well as the inside. For improved feel a high grip yet soft feel rubber is integrated into the smooth zoom, perfecting the operating experience.

• LR DOT - Reticle
  The LR Dot reticle was developed around a typical centrefire trajectory, like the .308 Winchester round, which is popular around the world for shooting fairly large game. It also suits some of the faster bullets that might be used for hunting foxes and similar quarry. Many hunters like to use the same magnification for the rifle scope as their binoculars so the LR Dot reticle markings were designed at 8x magnification. This design also makes it suitable for European shooters who might prefer a metric set of figures and therefore to zero their rifle in for 100 metres on the centre crosshair and use the lower aim points for 200, 300, 400 and 500 metres. A useful tip: at 8x magnification, the thick posts to the right and left of the centre dot would bracket the body length of a Roe deer at 100yds; a popular sized animal to hunt with this type of reticle.
