The Solution to Moon Blindness

I bought this filter for my Sky-Watcher Maksutov 102/1300. I like to view the Moon's terminator as it progresses and recedes, through the lunar cycle. This can be a pain because simply speaking, the Moon is too damn bright. It's like staring directly into an arclight; it makes your eyes water something chronic. The solution is so simple. Buy a Meade ND96 Moon filter. This filter is simple, high quality and really inexpensive. Screw it either directly on to your eyepiece, or directly onto the star diagonal. I prefer the latter because it saves having to swap the filter onto different eyepieces. The addition of this neutral density filter means, there's no more watering eyes and moon blindness. The lunar surface details jump out and the contrast between light and shadow is amazing. This filter allow you to enjoy viewing the Moon in comfort. The Meade ND96 Moon filter, is a must have accessory. It does exactly what is says on the box!
