Nice Legs!

Had a difficult time finding much information about these legs, but I purchased them anyway. Liked having the ability to remove the legs from the base, making it easier to pack when necessary. Nice and seem to be well made. The tripod has a very streamlined look when the legs are folded. No bulges, very little sticking out to hang up on anything. With all three legs folded they are just slightly larger than the diameter of the base. Should make it easier to slide out of my backpack than others I have used. Very stable when attached to the base, and I have had no problem with them coming loose, even when adjusting the legs.
Very nice machining around the stainless steel part that screws into the triopod base. It does seem like the machining of the stainless steel section of these legs is critical to the stability of the tripod and and may be responsible for what seems like a high price for tripod legs. Would be nice to have some type of protective cover for the thread/shoulder area when the legs are removed. Dropping one could possibly make the leg unusable. It does feel like a snug fit when screwing them into the base.
The stainless steel part of the first leg section is 31mm in diameter and the carbon fiber part of this section is 27.9mm in diameter. This section adds 310mm to the overall length. The next section adds 280mm to overall length and is 24.9mm in diameter. The third section adds 315mm to overall length, 21.8mm diameter. The last section adds 320mm to overall length, 18.95mm diameter. The overall collapsed length to the shoulder is 414mm, and the section above the shoulder, the part that screws into the triopod base, adds another 11mm. There is a removable spike under the rubber boot, 40mm in length, with a hole through the top of it to assist with installing and removing. They were loose when the legs arrived, but tightened up nicely.
The weight of each leg on my copy was 345g, for a total of 1035g. Used two different scales with almost no difference between the two, so basically as advertised.
