XCAM4K camera series (HDMI/LAN)
The XCAM4K series of cameras is the next generation live-view imaging system with 4K resolution (video) at 60 FPS. They feature a Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with high sensitivity, low noise, and no smear, which is achieved by using R, G and B primary colour mosaic filters. The cameras are equally suitable for scientific examinations, for teaching (online teaching, demonstration, academic exchange) and for medical examinations or industrial purposes.
A standard C-mount interface ensures maximum compatibility with different microscope systems. The cameras can be used as a stand-alone system without a PC in combination with an HDMI monitor or TV (stand-alone system), or streamed live to a PC via Gigabit Ethernet (LAN) for image capture and video recording.
All cameras in the series come with the ToupView/ToupLite advanced video and image processing application. This is compatible with Windows/Linux/macOS/Android (Native C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, TWAIN, etc.).

XCAM4K
Software
The accompanying Windows software offers image development and measurement tools as well as professional features such as image stitching and extended depth of focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspections.
There is a Lite version of the software for Mac and Linux, which can capture video and still images and includes limited processing functions.
