Microscopy

The mono and binocular BioBlue models’ DIN WF 10x/18 eyepieces offer the perfect field of view. The 45mm parfocal achromatic semi-plan DIN objectives are matched to 160mm DIN tubes. When changing magnification, the image remains centred, so your specimen is always perfectly illuminated. The BioBlue microscopes have a simple 120x120mm stage or a 130x130mm large stage with a 70x28 mm extendable, built-in, X-Y stage which allows 2μm specimen accuracy.

EYEPIECES

HEAD

• Heads are 360° rotatable and secured

• Binocular and trinocular models with 30° tubes, with an interpupillary distance adjustable between 54 to 75mm and are equipped with a ± 5 dioptre compensation on the left tube
• Trinocular head has a fixed light path beam splitter (50:50) and generates an upright image
• Models with digital head are equipped with an integrated 5.0 MP 1/2” CMOS sensor with 2560 x 1920 pixel resolution USB 2.0 camera
• Optional discussion head available

REVOLVER Inverted 4-piece objective lens revolver. Polarisation models are supplied with a slide-out analyser.

OBJECTIVES - 45 MM PARFOCAL Supplied with Semi-Plan 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, S40x/0.65, S60x/0.85, S100x/1.25 oil immersion objective. The configuration depends on the model. The S40x, S60x and S100x oil immersion lenses are spring-loaded (to prevent damage to the objectives). All lenses are anti-fungus treated.

FOCUS ADJUSTMENT Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment, 200μm fine adjustment, 2μm precision. Supplied with an adjustable rack stop to prevent damage to the objective and specimen. Travel adjustment 23mm.

STAGE 130x130mm stage with integrated 70x28 mm X-Y stage except for models AE.5155BB.4200 and BB.4205, these models have a simple 120x120mm stage and are equipped with 2 non-removable object clamps. The polarisation models are supplied as standard with a 129mm round stage, which is 360° rotatable and equipped with 2 object clamps. Image left: polarisation attachment with analyser and slider. POLARISATION MODELS Supplied with a wide field WF10x/18mm eyepiece with crosshair micrometre eyepiece. Equipped with analyser which is mounted in a slider under the head. 360° rotatable, polariser on the lamp housing. Supplied with H-LED illumination for correct colour rendering (very similar to the halogen light spectrum) as standard. Supplied with an integrated 100-240V power supply. Polarisation system for standard microscopes is available as an optional extra.

CONDENSOR Height adjustable Abbe condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris diaphragm and filter holder.

ILLUMINATION NeoLED combined. Binocular and trinocular models are equipped with adjustable 1W NeoLED illumination. Monocular models come with adjustable 1W LED illumination. The polarisation models are supplied with H-LED illumination for correct colour rendering (very similar to the halogen light spectrum), rechargeable AA batteries, and an integrated 100-240V power supply. 20W halogen illumination also available for polarisation models on request. The EVO models are equipped with Köhler NeoLED™ illumination. All models - except for halogen models - have an internal power supply/charger and 3 NiMH AA batteries (except for the polarization models). The LCD versions are not battery-powered.

ANTI-THEFT SLOT A Kensington Security Slot is located on the back of the microscope to allow the instrument to be protected from theft.

PACKAGE CONTENTS Supplied with dust cover, three rechargeable AA batteries, mains supply, spare fuse, white filter, and operating instructions. Packed in a polystyrene box. Models with 100x objective are supplied with 5ml of immersion oil. All models are equipped with a pointer eyepiece for centring. All packed in a polystyrene box.

DIGITAL MODELS CAMERA The BioBlue digital microscopes are equipped with a 5.0MP CMOS USB-2 camera. Maximum resolution 2560 x 1920, colour intensity 24 bits, up to 30 frames per second with ImageFocus Plus software, USB-2 cable and a micrometre 1mm/100 divisions. Camera supplied with a 2-year warranty.

SOFTWARE ImageFocus Plus software allows you to save images in .jpg, .tif, .bmp, or .dicom formats. The videos are stored in .avi format. Images can be annotated and measurements can be made in live or saved images. Compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10, 32 and 64 bit configurations. Mac OS version is also available. Updates can be downloaded from our website at www.euromex.com.

The DIN WF 10x/18 eyepieces and the semi plan achromatic corrected 45 mm DIN objectives of the BioBlue models generate a crisp high-resolution image. When changing magnification the image remains perfectly in focus and centered. The 120 x 120 mm plain stage and 130 x 130 mm stage with double layered 70 x 28 mm X-Y mechanical stage enable a 2 µm precision positioning of the specimen.
