The unique, compact 42 mm Duovid with its two magnification options offers you a wide overview at 8x magnification and then the 12x magnification is ideal for discerning additional detail and fine nuances.
As with the 50 mm model, the patented eyepieces, with two click stops, provide optimum eye relief and can be adapted to the needs of the viewer. Changing magnification is done separately for both tubes by turning the two rings. The automatic Diopter Compensation (ADCTM) ensures that the diopter value you set is retained even when changing magnification.
A perfect view, whatever the light conditions: The supreme low light performance of the 12x magnification allows for detail recognition even in early twilight. Then as darkness sets, the 8x magnification is often preferred for its greater image brightness and increased depth of field.

Dream binoculars
The zoom control is steplessly variable and is independent for each eye. Unlike cheaper instruments, the apparent field of view remains the same during zooming, i.e. there is no tunnel vision. In-house testing led to the exceptionally comfortable observing and excellent edge sharpness over the whole zoom range making a positive impression. Even dioptre compensation is carried out via internal focusing. Duovid binoculars are the only fully waterproofed zoom binoculars on the market. As ZEISS and Swarovski do not produce anything similar to the Leica Duovid, it is unique in its market segment.
