Astronomical observations with these large binoculars: you can observe large gas nebulae and galaxies with 150 mm binoculars. Larger star clusters resolve into individual stars. With binoculars, faint celestial objects appear much brighter and richer in contrast than with a conventional telescope with the same aperture. Observing objects such as the Orion Nebula, Veil Nebula or the Dumbbell Nebula with screw-on nebula filters is particularly rewarding (internal thread for dew caps: M169x1.5-6H). In addition, you can enjoy a 3D effect, e.g. when observing the Moon. The 45° viewing angle is comfortable for observing objects at medium altitudes.
The ultra-large diameter lenses and advanced broadband multi-coating guarantees extremely bright and sharp images that show every detail, even at great distances. The high-quality extra low dispersion ED FK-61 glass reduces possible residual colour defects to an absolute minimum. Extremely precise calibration allows high magnification factors and features excellent resolution. The binoculars are naturally waterproof and weatherproof, making them suitable for outdoor use. The housing is constructed from a magnesium alloy in order to ensure that they are light in weight.
The binoculars are supplied with slideable dew caps with front lens covers, a carrying handle with sighting device, a camera tripod adapter with 3/8" threaded connection and 2 x 30 mm 74° eyepieces. These eyepieces offer 28x magnification.
A sturdy transport case with foam insert is also included.
New: now waterproof and with nitrogen filling.
