The importance of good focusers for stress-free observation and successful astrophotography is often underestimated. The focuser is the part of the telescope that is moved most often - so it is subject to the most wear and tear. At the same time, the focuser must be able to move eyepieces or cameras with the highest precision without slipping or tipping. Starlight focusers master all of these tasks in an exemplary manner and are considered the standard in the market. We have now had a large quantity of focusers manufactured at Starlight Instruments and are passing on the price advantage of the large quantity to you.
This 3-inch focuser has the same design and construction as all other Feather Touch focusers, but is larger in size. This avoids any vignetting that may occur with smaller diameters and enables the possibilitiy to adapt 3-inch accessories. The opening on the eyepiece side of the OAZ is larger than 3", which means the focuser can also accommodate corresponding accessories.

The focuser comes complete with adapters for a 2" barrel and M117x1 thread adapter, suitable for Omegon RC telescopes from 10"/250mm and up.
