Space Walk Experience

For writing this review I used a Skywatcher ED80 Pro Series Apochromatic refractor along several eyepieces including APM HDC 13mm 100 Degrees Nitrogen Purged, Baader Hyperion 21mm, Meade Super Plossl 40mm and Explore Scientific Maxvision 24mm 82 Degrees.
The space walk experience with the APM was a shock after using a narrower field of view eyepiece like Baader Hyperion 21mm which has a 68 degree field of view.
I was observing at about 3 AM in the morning.. It was a relatively clear night, but cold. Therefore I kept the window closed and used the refractor indoors, looking through the double glazed windows. I observed a while with eyepieces with field of views of 40 to 82 degrees. Then I changed to this 100 degrees eyepiece. It was like a shock. Suddenly as if I was in the the middle of space, floating, looking towards these dazzling grouping of bright stars(they were actually magnitude 4 and fainter stars). These fusion cores of nucleusynthesis were in front of me. Quietly shining with dazzling blue light. I never before experienced such a thing when looking through an eyepiece. A true "space walk" experience. It's cold outside, there is no kind of atmosphere, I am all alone, more or less.
