Pier extension SX half column 2

This is a somewhat improved half-pier, which effects the separation between telescope and tripod required for avoiding the telescope potentially hitting the tripod legs. But it also makes the observing position much more comfortable if your tripod is not really tall enough. Tip: The more comfortable the observing position, the better your concentration when observing.
