Los bloques de alimentación ofrecen tensión constante y durante un tiempo ilimitado. Por eso son la mejor opción para equipos fijos en el jardín, la terraza o el balcón. Sin embargo, los astrónomos itinerantes necesitan baterías, a menudo también denominadas powertanks.
