New Atlux Go-To mount with Star Book S

The Vixen New Atlux is a severe, but still portable equatorial mount, which is factory-fitted with the powerful Star Book GoTo computer control. The many amenities available Starbook, precise and robust high-precision mechanics, and the integrated polar scope to make the New Atlux mount an ideal tool for serious astrophotographers.

The New Atlux mount is supplied as standard with the Star Book. This control allows GoTo telescope next to the machine-independent control, a control via an external PC and the astronomy program The Sky 6.0. The Star Book telescope allows panning up to 500x sidereal rate, furthermore, it allows accurate tracking even in long-term astrophotography. This is supported by features such as the standard autoguider interface, backlash compensation, and electronic compensation error of the worm. The menu interface is in German.

Integrated into the mount power connectors reduce the external cables to the 12V connector and the connection to the Star Book. The compact dimensions and low overhangs is the New Atlux mount despite their potential payload still very suitable for portable use.
