WECAM cameras

The cameras of the WECAM series have a Sony Exmor CMOS sensor. They are equipped with both a Wifi (WLAN) video output and a LAN (Ethernet) video output.

Via the Wifi video output, the cameras can be connected to mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers. The ToupView app can be used under iOS, Android and Windows. It enables the viewing and saving of videos under iOS and Android as well as little image aquisition options. In addition, two modes can be selected: Access Point (AP) and Station Mode (STA). This enables the cameras to join an existing Wifi network (STA) as well as to act as an access point (AP).

The cameras can be connected to a router or computer via the LAN video output. Thus they can be controlled with ToupView via the computer. They are also compatible with C/C++, C#VB.Net, Python, Java, DirectShow, Twain, etc.

Videos can be recorded via Wifi as well as via LAN, but not simultaneously.

A standard C-mount interface ensures maximum compatibility with various microscope systems.
