All binoculars contain high-quality BaK-4 prisms. All models have a close focus of less than 3 metres. This is especially important for bird watching!

The premium models in the series feature an additional ED glass in the objective lenses. ED stands for extra-low dispersion, meaning minimal chromatic aberration. This suppresses colour fringing on bright objects and increases contrast.
In addition, the ED versions are equipped with phase-corrected prisms for higher light transmission.
