This barlow has been used in configurations resulting in magnifications from ~1.5-3X with the some of the widest 1.25" eyepieces and no significant vignetting problems or negative impact to the image. It also worked successfully in combination with the Baader Q-barlow for a total magnification factor of about 4.5x with very good results. Finally, the barlow construction being T2 nosepiece + T2 spacers + T2 to M48 adapter + 2" to 1.25" adapter with T2 and M48 threads leaves room for further combinations with other accessories one might have. Really serviceable product!

I have a Baader 2X Barlow lens now for 1.5 month and tested it in combination with a 12" f/4.9 newtonian, a ASI290MC with an ASI ADC and an extension tube with Mars as test subject and I'm very satisfied with this item.
